DAY IN NEW YORK

I got to spend the whole day in New York yesterday which ended up being really cool. Not so cool when you have a bad Internet signal during your trip, but it was all good in the end.

My BLURBS From NY...

1. The traffic is 10 times worse compared to Boston.

2. People yell way more to each other while driving in NY

3. Saw some kids skating a big ledge...watched for 10 mins

4. Took down an amazing slice of pizza, a steak and cheese, and small fry

5. U.S. Airways seating is really tight if your a tall dude

6.  Drinking orange juice out of a can is really weird, but tastes good

7. People spend more time with their blackberry than doing anything else

8. 5th avenue was a cool scene

9. Taxi cab drivers give the best stories

10. There is no place like home...

On The ROAD home...we ended up getting stuck in a good 45 mins of traffic. I was looking out the window and couldn't believe all the random stuff I saw on the side of the highway. The first item that caught my eyes was an old black purse which looked brand new. It was just sitting there near the off ramp & I started to think about how the purse got there and the story behind it? Was it stolen and thrown out the window? Did someone leave it there? Did it have anything in it? Could I be rich If I had jumped out to check?  All these things were going through my head because of the high level of boredom combined with me sweating profusely. Some of the other things I saw were: A rubber mallet, a toothbrush, a Harry Potter book cover, an old sneaker, & a wheel to a RC car. Seeing all these items made the taxi ride much more interesting and my day was soon coming to a close. I got home around 6PM, got some nice dinner down, and relaxed on the couch for the night :)
