The surfrider Foundation has been pushing the good word about clean water and healthy beaches for about 20 years now. They have multiple programs in place and act as local activists in assisting to keep our water and beaches clean. I really enjoy their dedication along with their passion  and find it amazing they have over 140,000 Volunteer hours in helping their cause. Healthy beaches and water are very important more than ever now since the horrible oil spill we are now fighting. As of today their is more than 40 million gallons spilt. This is not just killing animals, but hurting business owners and surfers who live and die by their beaches.
